Problem Statement: Our client, who is in the business of driving footage, had the company cars equipped with GPS trackers which would auto-upload the Time & Speed data on Google Drive. As part of the solution, the client was offering, this data needed to be converted to specific charts with pre-decided nomenclature of filenames and packaged with footage file.
The process of converting data to charts was error-prone and time-consuming.
Magikos Solution: We created a script for the client which would auto-detect new files uploaded by the GPS device, convert them to the charts of the required format/filename and save it to the specified folder. In our client’s own words, this project has cut down 4+ man-hours requirements per day and the error rates are down to zero.
